Production office – Hollywood
Shooting in various locations in Los Angeles.
Prep – 7 wks / shoot – 5 wks / wrap 5 wks – Position starts 3/7/16

Applicant should be:
1)871 Member
2)Knowledge of entertainment payroll/rules for all Guilds (AFTRA-Schedul A/w SAG rules, DGA, WGA, IA, Tmstr, etc)
3)Knowledge and great skills to interpret various agreements & labor guide books
4)Experience with Talent Cross-boarding and understanding the rules of intervening days
5)Good oral and written skills
6)Experienced with Global Vista
7)Must be proficient in excel and word
8)Strong background in production accounting and it’s principles
9)Must be confident and be have strong attention to detail and organization
10)Good spirit and team player

Lead Production Accountant needed for TV Prodco (Raleigh-Durham, NC)

Seeking a full-time, lead production accountant for a television production company starting March 14. Candidates must be willing to work locally in Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina.

Position is responsible for e-verify submissions, weekly reconciliations, invoicing, cost reports, processing payroll, petty cash reconciliation, 1099 processing and other bookkeeping tasks as required.

Candidates must have accounting related education, be proficient in Quickbooks, Excel, PSL, have excellent organizational skills, be highly motivated and have experience in television or film.

Production Accounting Software Support (Burbank)

The Role:

Lead Production Accounting Software Support. This is a salaried full time position with benefits.

This person will report to the Production Accounting Software Manager and is Located in our Burbank, CA office.

Key responsibilities:

• Complete new client setup, system testing, and user training
• Interface with client project accounting teams to solve problems and answer questions
o Occasionally providing after hours support
• Provide support to PES Accounting department for internal reporting

Our Must Haves:

• Life-long learner with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 1 year of related Accounting experience in the entertainment industry
• Understanding of:
o Cost Reporting
o Estimating (EFC/ETC/Budgeting)
o Trial Balance Sheet
o A/P and Payroll
o Journal Entries
o Purchase Orders
o Bank Reconciliation
• Proficiency in Excel (proficiency in Movie Magic PSL, VISTA a plus)
