Visual Effects Accountant (based in West LA)
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in Finance/Accounting within the film industry. This full-time position will help oversee all financial aspects of a new entrepreneurial Visual Effects company based in Los Angeles.
• Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 15-40 non-union employees.
• Create expense reports to ensure compliance with policies.
• Create vendors, raise purchase orders and ensure timely processing of invoices.
• Reconcile company credit card expenditure
• Process petty cash transactions
• Minimum of 2 years of production finance/accounting experience
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
• Highly organized and high attention to detail
• Proficiency with Vista and/or PSL
• Team player
• BS in Accounting or Finance preferred
